I’m Jinqi Zhang, a Director of Photography, Editor and Colorist based in California. I work with images, rhythm and color to bring stories to life.
Growing up in Suzhou, China, I was drawn to the quiet beauty of classical gardens: the spaces between stones, the stillness of water, the details that speak without words. That attention to the subtle continues to shape my filmmaking.
I look for truth, rawness and beauty in every story, creating films that resonate beyond the screen.
